摘要 <p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the leakage of a cooling medium to a space between a rotor and a stator in a rotary electric machine having a shaft core cooling structure including a rotor core formed by a steel plate laminated body. <P>SOLUTION: A cooling structure of a rotary electric machine includes: a rotor shaft 28 having a coolant supply passage therein and a coolant supply port supplying a coolant from the coolant supply passage to the exterior of a shaft; a rotor core 15 formed by a steel plate laminated body and fitted onto the rotor shaft 28 to be fixed thereon; and end plates 42, 44 fixed to both axial sides of the rotor core 15. Coolant passages 40, which flow a cooling medium supplied to the rotor shaft 28 in the axial direction, are formed at an inner peripheral part of the rotor core 15. Protrusions 54, each of which is inserted into an opening of the coolant passage 40, are formed at the end plate 44.
