The card (2) has first chip (P1) connected to a connector (12) compatible with ISO 7816 standard. Second chip (P2) includes a universal serial bus (USB) interface and an ISO interface. The second chip is connected to the connector by a data link (16) to allow transfer of USB frames and to the first chip by data links (33-35) to allow transfer of ISO frames. The second chip includes a logic controller to decode USB data frames from contacts of the connector and transiting through the first connection.
