Provided is a method for manufacturing an organic light emitting element. The manufacturing method includes the following steps: forming a first electrode, an organic light emitting layer, and a second electrode stacked on a first substrate in order; forming a capping layer on a second substrate; disposing the second substrate on the first substrate to have the upper surface of the capping layer and the upper surface of the second electrode face each other; and separating the capping layer from the second substrate and transferring the capping layer to the top of the second electrode. The capping layer includes a dielectric mirror wherein dielectric thin films having different refractive indexes are stacked.
