<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly durable and reliable scroll compressor capable of more efficiently controlling a capacity by reducing a pressure loss when controlling a capacity. <P>SOLUTION: A port hole 60 for discharging a fluid from a compressed space formed between a fixed scroll 30 and a turning scroll 20 is formed in a step part 61A, in which the thickness of an end plate 31 of the fixed scroll 30 changes. In a wrap wall 22 on the turning scroll 20 side, a part 63 of a high wall part 22H opposite to the port hole is faced the port hole 60 in a stage difference part 62 corresponding to the step part 61A.
