Each anchoring section has four sides, where one side forms a connection side (89) for connecting a respective anchoring section with the base body. One of the remaining sides that is located opposite to the connection side forms a cleaning side (90) of the respective anchoring section. The cleaning side has a cleaning edge for cleaning the wall during insertion of the element in the borehole. An independent claim is also included for a fastening arrangement for anchoring a fastening device with a hardenable mass.</p>
