An X-ray diagnostic device (1) according to an embodiment comprises: an X-ray tube (131) which generates X-rays at an X-ray focal point; an X-ray flat panel detector (153) which detects the X-rays that are generated from the X-ray tube (131) and pass through a subject; and an X-ray movable diaphragm unit (133) which includes a plurality of first shields that limit the irradiation range of the generated X-rays along a predetermined direction from both end sides of the irradiation range and at least one second shield that is movable along a predetermined direction with at least a portion thereof moving past a midpoint in a length along the predetermined direction of the maximum aperture of the irradiation range.
