A garden light, provided with a lighting unit and a translucent lampshade, wherein the lighting unit is provided with a housing in which a battery, a solar cell assembly, and LEDs are present for providing light. Preferably, the whole is of easily demountable design. The lighting unit can be utilized both in a standing lamp, a table lamp, a wall lamp and a hanging lamp. With the garden light according to the invention, a light beacon is provided which, from a view point of energy, can be completely self-supporting and which can also serve eminently as outdoor reading lamp. |
