APPARATUS FOR MEASURING EVM OF PHICH FOR LTE SYSTEM

The present invention relates to a meter for measuring the error vector magnitude (EVM) of a physical hybrid-ARQ indicator channel (PHICH) in LTE system. The meter can efficiently and easily measure the EVM of the PHICH in LTE system. The meter includes: an entire PHICH group data extracting unit which extracts all PHICH group data from a signal in a received first sub-frame; an entire PHICH group analysis unit analyzing all resources of the extracted PHICH group data to detect an orthogonal sequence and an Ack/Nack bit used in each PHICH group; an ideal PHICH group sequence generating unit which uses the detected orthogonal sequence and the Ack/Nack bit to generate an ideal PHICH group sequence; and an EVM measuring unit which uses the an ideal PHICH group sequence and a reception signal to measure the EVM of the PHICH.
