<p>The present invention relates to a redox flow battery and, specifically, to a redox flow battery in which anolyte and catholyte are supplied to a battery cell and which carries out charging and discharging by using an active material comprising vanadium and a positive ion exchange membrane. The anolyte and the catholyte comprise a vanadium ion as an active ion, the concentration of the vanadium ion contained in the anolyte and the concentration of the vanadium ion contained in the catholyte are different from each other, and a storage tank stored with the anolyte and a storage tank stored with the catholyte are connected to each other through a communication tube, thereby controlling the movement of an active material and electrolyte inside a battery and minimizing battery performance degradation.</p> |
