The present invention provides an ice maker comprising: a tray to freeze water; a heater to prevent the water of a water supply unit from being frozen by heating the water supply unit for supplying the water to the tray; a temperature sensor to measure the temperature of the tray; an electrode unit which is electrically connected to the temperature sensor and is included in the tray; a frame which is rotationally combined with the tray; a contact point unit capable of coming in contact with the electrode unit in a stop state of the tray or a rotation process of the tray; and a control unit which is electrically connected to the contact point unit and blocks the power which is selectively supplied to the heater according to the temperature of the tray, a refrigerator including the same, and a control method of the refrigerator. In the ice maker and the refrigerator including the same, the electric connection site of the installed temperature sensor of the tray is not interfered with even if the tray is rotated. The power consumed in the heater can be reduced by controlling the operation of the heater installed in a water bottle. Moreover, the temperature rise of the water bottle can be prevented by stopping the operation of the heater if there is no water in the water bottle. Therefore, a malfunction or failure of the refrigerator can be prevented.
