<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bathtub washing apparatus capable of automatically determining an actual bathing situation and carrying out washing of the inside of a bathtub after changing to optimum washing capacity based on a determined result in order to improve a user's convenience. <P>SOLUTION: Bathing is detected (Yes in S13 and S14) by the sudden rise of a water level detection value from a water level sensor after hot water filling is completed (Yes in S11), and 1 is added to a bather number counter Vp (S15). The continuation of bathing is confirmed (No in S16), and if water level pulsation of a water level moving up and down intensely occurs, 1 is added to a water level pulsation counter Vm (Yes in S19, and S20).
