<p>An electronic device mount 1 for a dashboard of a motor vehicle, comprising a housing 4 arranged to be provided on the dashboard of the motor vehicle, a holder 5 for holding an electronic device 6 and an actuation mechanism 7 configured to move the holder 5 between a retracted position and a deployed position. The movement of the holder between the retracted and deployed positions comprises translation movement relative to the housing and rotational movement relative to the housing. The holder may comprise a first part (32, Fig. 11) that carries out the rotational and translational movement, and a second part (33) detachably connected to the first part suitable for supporting the device. There may be a power, charge, audio, video or auxiliary connection (45, Fig.8) through the holder for connection to the device. The actuation mechanism may be motorised (19, Fig.7). The mount may be integral to the dash or releasably attached to the top of the dash board by adhesive (10) or at least one suction cup (81, Fig.17), or by means of a separable base plate (9).</p> |
