<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reliably reduce a large inrush current upon the start of energization, to extend the lifetime of a glow plug by relieving electric stress, and to reduce noise. <P>SOLUTION: A voltage drop switch 5 includes a second terminal 5b to which a power supply voltage VB is applied via a voltage drop resistor 3 and a third terminal 5c to which the power supply voltage VB is directly applied, and selectively connects one of the second and third terminal 5b, 5c with a first terminal 5a connected to a glow switch 2 by the control of an electronic control unit 101. By the control of the electronic control unit 101, the first terminal 5a of the voltage drop switch 5 is connected to the second terminal 5b upon the driving start of a glow plug 1, and the first terminal 5a of the voltage drop switch 5 is connected to the third terminal 5c after the passage of a predetermined reference time ts. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT</p> |
