<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To commercialize a thermoelectric conversion material that has no problem of oxidization, etc. and utilizes exhaust heat in the temperature region of 300-700K, and to provide a thermoelectric conversion material having a large Seebeck coefficient and a small electrical resistivity in the temperature region of 300-700K. <P>SOLUTION: In the Fe<SB POS="POST">2</SB>VAl-based thermoelectric conversion material having a Heusler alloy crystal structure, a part of Al is substituted by Ta so as to have a composition Fe<SB POS="POST">2+x</SB>V<SB POS="POST">1+y</SB>(Al<SB POS="POST">1-α</SB>Ta<SB POS="POST">α</SB>)<SB POS="POST">1+z</SB>, where -1<x<1, -1<y<1, -1<z<1, and 0<α<1 are satisfied. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
