<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the operational burden on a user when performing human body communication, while preventing malfunction incident to the human body communication. <P>SOLUTION: The information processing unit 1 comprises first communication means 2a connected communicatively with a portable terminal 8 through the fingertip of a user 7 when the user 7 holding the portable terminal 8 touches the first communication means, and a second communication means 3a connected communicatively with the portable terminal 8 through a part of the user 7 other than the fingertip when the user 7 exists at a predetermined position around the information processing unit 1.
