<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermally conductive member with thermal anisotropy, the member which is capable of improving a heat transport capacity and a heat transport efficiency, and to provide a magnetic refrigerator employing the same. <P>SOLUTION: The thermally conductive member 30 is provided for conducting heat through a magnetic material which exhibits a magneto-caloric effect.
