<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air cleaner capable of holding down power consumption.SOLUTION: A dehumidifier-humidifier air cleaner 100 comprises: a main body casing 10; a Sirocco fan 50; a sensor 45; a fan controller 93; and an economical mode controller 98. The sensor 45 detects a cleanliness of indoor air. The fan controller 93 and the economical mode controller 98 control the Sirocco fan 50 to be driven. The economical mode controller 98 has a continuous operation mode and an intermittent operation mode as control modes. The economical mode controller 98 transitions to the intermittent operation mode with a detection result of the sensor 45 satisfying predetermined conditions as a momentum. In the intermittent operation mode, the economical mode controller 98 controls the fan controller 93 to drive the Sirocco fan 50 for a predetermined monitoring period at intervals of predetermined periods. In the monitoring period, the fan controller 93 drives the Sirocco fan 50 with a smaller air volume than that during the continuous operation mode.</p> |
