[Class 41] [Also in Group XXII] In a method of bonding together layers of metals (see Group XXII), one surface of at least one of said metals is coated with a layer of copper base alloy, preferably by electrodeposition. Copper silver alloy may be deposited from a mixed alkali cyanide bath. Nickel can be codeposited with copper from solutions of the sulphates, the double sulphates or an alkali cyanide bath. Copper manganese alloy can be plated from a mixed sulphate both containing ammonium chloride. |
