摘要 The present invention provides a control apparatus for a hybrid vehicle drive system to prevent a decrease in drivability. The control apparatus includes a drive mode switching portion (60) configured to switch the hybrid vehicle drive system from a hybrid drive mode (HV1, HV2) to an EV drive mode (EV1) if an electric energy stored in a battery (48) is less than a predetermined threshold value (α) or if a required vehicle drive force is smaller than a predetermined threshold value (β), and to an EV drive mode (EV2) if the electric energy stored in the battery (48) is equal to or larger than the threshold value (α) and if the required drive force is equal to or more than the threshold value (β), when the drive mode switching portion has determined that the hybrid vehicle drive system should be switched from the hybrid drive mode to the EV drive mode (EV1 or EV2). Therefore, the control apparatus for a hybrid vehicle drive system effectively prevents a decrease in the drivability caused by the changeover of the drive modes during acceleration.
