PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an operation assisting apparatus capable of independently and safely assisting the recovery training or the like of a patient.SOLUTION: When an operation of walking of the patient is assisted, a DC motor 50 mounted on the knee joint part of the leg of the patient and assisting the bending operation and the extension operation of the knee joint part accompanied with the walking, is used. During a first period during the extension operation following the bending operation, the DC motor 50 is driven by a first driving force to assist the extension operation, and after the first period passes, during a second period before starting the next bending operation, the DC motor 50 is driven by a second driving force smaller than the first driving force to assist the extension operation. |
