PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology capable of suppressing variation in the threshold voltage of a transistor of a display device, reducing the number of contacts of a mounted driver IC, and achieving low power consumption.SOLUTION: In a driver circuit having a flip-flop, a signal is input to gate electrodes of transistors 102 and 106 which easily deteriorate, through a turned-on transistor 103. Thus, this invention provides a configuration in which an AC pulse is applied to the gate electrodes of the transistors which easily deteriorate, through a transistor (or an element having a resistance component) which has a high potential (VDD) applied to a gate electrode thereof, whereby shifts of the threshold voltages of the transistors which easily deteriorate and a shift of the threshold voltage of the turned-on transistor can be suppressed. |
