<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To form a high quality image which is always subjected to a color shift correction without reducing productivity. <P>SOLUTION: An image forming device comprises an intermediate transfer body, a generation unit for generating test pattern data, a holding unit for holding a color shift amount, a correction unit for correcting the test pattern data and image data based on the current color shift amount held in the holding unit, a formation unit for forming a test pattern on the intermediate body at a predetermined interval based on the test pattern data corrected by the correction unit and forming an image based on the image data on the intermediate transfer body, a detection unit for detecting the test pattern formed on the intermediate transfer body and an updating unit for determining the color shift amount from the detection results of the detection unit and updating the color shift amount held in the holding unit by using the variation of the color shift amount. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT</p> |
