<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology to improve efficiency of wiring from a processing circuit to an irradiation body of an image forming apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: A printer 10 is provided with a LED control circuit 40 comprising a LED control ASIC 74 to process image data to irradiation data and plural connectors 78 to output the irradiation data from the LED control ASIC 74, and LED arrays 44 extending in a right-and-left direction of the printer 10 and irradiating with light based on the irradiation data transmitted via FFCs 42 connected to the connectors 78. The LED control circuit 40 is arranged parallel to the right-and-left direction of the printer 10.
