<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a joint structure and joint block for pavements providing a joint between pavements with different modulus of elasticity which can be passed through safely and smoothly without sudden change in level, and also for preventing the damage of the joint. <P>SOLUTION: A buffer area 11 is provided in a joint part between two pavements which have different modulus of elasticity from each other. The modulus of elasticity of the buffer area 11 decreases gradually from that of an asphalt pavement 1 to that of a porous elastic pavement 2 from the side of the asphalt pavement 1 to the side of the porous elastic pavement 2. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT</p> |
