<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle door lock system having higher vehicle safety with usability being improved. <P>SOLUTION: Door lock control processing implemented by a door lock controller can execute portable terminal whereabouts check processing which determines whether a portable remote control device is within a radio transmission range around an out-of-vehicle LF antenna (YES) or not (NO) with implementation of steps S9 to S11 processing. If the portable remote control device is detected as being outside the radio transmission range of a vehicle after the portable remote control device whereabouts check processing (NO in the step S11), reservation control stop alert processing is executed in a step S31. That is, in the step S31, a user outside the vehicle is alerted that the door lock processing is in a stopped status with predetermined alert means such as an out-of-vehicle buzzer, a horn, a head lamp or turn lamps. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT</p> |
