The invention relates to an arrangement for securing a spare wheel well (1) of a motor vehicle, said spare wheel well (1) intended for housing a container and resting on a floor (3) of said vehicle, said vehicle comprising at least one crossmember (5). The arrangement comprises a first securing part (7) and a second securing part (9) which are secured to said crossmember (5), and a first connecting part (11) and a second connecting part (13) secured to the spare wheel well (1), said first connecting part (11) and second connecting part (13) being secured to said first connecting part (7) and second connecting part (9), respectively. A device controlling the braking is secured to one of the first (7, 11) or second securing or connecting parts (9, 13). |
