Method and device for handling dispersion materials

The method involves introducing a plasma-forming gas into a reaction chamber (5) of a plasma reactor and ionizing the plasma-forming gas. A dispersed material (9) is introduced into the chamber and in an area of plasma (4). The dispersed material is treated under action of the plasma. The dispersed material is cooled by operating gas of cyclone after treatment in the plasma. The dispersed material is removed from the area of plasma, where the introductions of the plasma-forming gas and the dispersed material are performed independently of one another and from different directions. An independent claim is also included for a device for treatment of a dispersed material in plasma.
