A polypeptide comprising a peptide of interest and at least two chorionic gonadotropin carboxy terminal peptides, wherein a first chorionic gonadotropin carboxy terminal peptide of the at least two chorionic gonadotropin carboxy terminal peptides is attached to an amino terminus of the peptide of interest, and a second chorionic gonadotropin carboxy terminal peptide of the at least two chorionic gonadotropin carboxy terminal peptides is attached to a carboxy terminus of the peptide of interest, wherein the peptide of interest is selected from an erythropoietin (EPO) peptide, an interferon peptide and a GLP-1 peptide.
