In the present invention, there are disclosed platinum dichloride complexes in the oxidation stage +II and crystalline solvates thereof comprising a structural motif (I) of the general formula (II) or (III) and expressed by structural formula cis-[PtCli2(L)i2] II or cis-[PtCli2(L)(L´)], wherein the symbols L and L´ represent kinetin (N6-furfuryladenine) and/or a derivative thereof of the general formula (IV) bound to a platinum atom via a nitrogen atom of adenine skeleton N7; a process for their preparation, a pharmaceutical composition containing thereof and their use in the treatment of tumor diseases.
