摘要 The purpose of the present invention is to provide an ultrahigh molecular weight ethylene copolymer powder and a molded article obtained by using the ultrahigh molecular weight ethylene copolymer powder wherein the ultrahigh molecular weight ethylene copolymer powder becomes a molded article which shows, while maintaining various physical properties, excellent abrasion resistance, strength, and continuous processing productivity, and exhibits high product physical properties and superior long-term stability. The ultrahigh molecular weight ethylene copolymer powder obtainable by copolymerizing an ethylene unit and an α-olefin unit having 3 to 8 carbon atoms, has a viscosity average molecular weight of more than 2,500,000 and less than 10,000,000, has a content of the α-olefin unit of more than 0.01 mol% and less than 0.10 mol% based on a total amount of the ethylene unit and the α-olefin unit, and has a bulk density of more than 0.40 g/cm^3 and less than 0.60 g/cm^3.
