<p>A fan assembly (1) comprises a support structure (2) and a motor (6) fixated to the support structure. The motor comprises: a stator (7), an external rotor (8), and a controller. Elements for configuration of the controller have a heat exchange relationship with a plate shaped heat sink (11) on one end of the stator. A fan (12) fixated to the rotor comprises an empty hub (13) from which a blade (14) is expanded. Air flows through an input opening of a front wall (13a) of the hub. The heat sink (11) comprises a slit (20) with an internal side (20b) and an external side (20a) which is offset in a shaft direction. A wing (21) is formed on a portion of the heat sink to partially deflect a flow of air from the input opening through the slit (20), and make the air pass on a surface of the heat sink (11).</p> |
