<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steering device enabling selection of a structure in which a car body side friction plate is clamped to and released from a column side friction plate in a telescopic mechanism and a structure in which a tooth plate is engaged with a tooth block. <P>SOLUTION: The steering device provided with the telescopic mechanism and a tilt mechanism of a steering column 1 has both of the structure in which the car body side friction plate 32 extending from a support bracket 3 freely rockably jounaling the steering column 1 externally engaging a holding cylinder 12 to a fixed cylinder 11 freely forth and back movable is held between the column side friction plate 22 provided in the holding cylinder 12 of the steering column 1 and the tooth plate 5 engaged with the tooth block 4 and the car body side friction plate 32 is held between the column side friction plate 22 and the tooth plate 5 to be consequently clamped and released, and the structure in which the tooth plate 5 is engaged with the tooth block 4. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
