PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a feature quantity extraction device, a target object detection system, a computer program, and a feature quantity extraction method which can accurately extract feature quantity which presents essential difference between a target object and a non-target object.SOLUTION: A feature quantity candidate determination unit 102 determines a plurality of feature quantity candidates related to displacement of spectral intensity at a plurality of arbitrary wavelengths for each sample pixel. An identifier generation unit 103 generates an identifier for identifying a target object and a non-target object by using boosting for each of a part of feature quantity candidates among the determined feature quantity candidates. A feature quantity extraction unit 105 extracts a feature quantity candidate used for generating an identifier as feature quantity. |
