<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To fuse and connect the same-diameter active-pipe branch joint with favorable workability with respect to a resin original pipe whose outline is deformed to a flatness state. <P>SOLUTION: A method includes: a connecting working range specification step S1 of specifying a connecting working range where the same-diameter active-pipe branch joint is connected to the original pipe on an outer surface where the original pipe is exposed; a flatness correction step S2 of mounting flatness correction tools at both ends of the connecting working range to correct the flatness state of the outline of the original pipe in the connecting working range; a flatness confirmation step S3 of confirming whether the ovality of the original pipe in the connecting working range is within a tolerance where the same-diameter active-pipe branch joint is accurately fused to the original pipe using a flatness confirmation gage after mounting the flatness correction tool; and a fusion-splicing step S4 of fusing and connecting the same-diameter active-pipe branch joint on the outer surface of the connecting working range while mounting the flatness correction tool when it is confirmed that the ovality is within the tolerance in the flatness confirmation step S3. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT</p> |
