<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resin composition for forming an optical waveguide, the composition having excellent transparency, reflow heat resistance, and thermal stability, achieving formation of a thick film with high accuracy and being alkali-developable, having high productivity, and particularly being useful for a resin film for forming an optical waveguide; to provide a resin film for forming an optical waveguide using the above resin composition for forming an optical waveguide; and to provide an optical waveguide excellent in transparency, reflow heat resistance, thermal stability, and environmental reliability. <P>SOLUTION: The resin composition for forming an optical waveguide comprises (A) a polymer having a carboxyl group, (B) a (meth)acrylate, (C) a photoradical polymerization initiator, and (D) a phenolic antioxidant. The resin film for forming an optical waveguide is formed of the resin composition for forming an optical waveguide. The optical waveguide is formed by using the resin composition for forming an optical waveguide or the resin film for forming an optical waveguide, in at least one of a lower clad layer, a core, and an upper clad layer. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT</p> |
