The plate heat exchanger (1) has two main modules (1a,1b) that are with the passages through which the heat-exchanging media is flowed, and are bounded on the outside by cover plates (5). A rectangular side (9a) of one main module is arranged adjacently to a respective rectangular side (9b) of another main module. The mold portions are fixed on the rectangular sides of the main modules.
