[Class 126] [Also in Group XXIII] In a poker, of the kind having the point attached to a tubular portion within which slides a ram, the upper ends of both the tubular portion and the ram are formed with an enlargement constituting a handle, the enlargement on the ram being a weight member and the lower end of the ram being tapered. A ram in the form of a rod d with a head e and a tapered end d<SP>1</SP> is slidably mounted within a tube b fitted to the point a of the poker and provided at the other end with an enlargement c which, with the head e, forms a handle for the poker when being used in the normal way. A spring clip is provided to secure the head e to the enlargement c when the tube b and the rod d are in particular relative angular dispositions. According to the Provisional Specification the sliding part may be in the form of a tube.</p> |
