PHARMACEUTICAL TOPICAL COMPOSITIONS

A stable topical ointment composition is provided. The ointment composition comprises 0.2-5% by weight based on the total weight of the composition of ozenoxacin and a suitable carrier selected from white wax, white soft paraffin, and mixtures thereof. The ointment composition is useful for the treatment or prevention of skin and skin structure infections, for the treatment or prevention of sexually transmitted diseases and genital tract infections, or for the eradication of nasopharynx infections in asymptomatic nasal carriers.
