1. A core shell microcapsule which has an average particle size between 1 and 500 micrometers and contains a fragrance composition having a density greater than 0.950 g/cm3 which comprises, prior to encapsulation:
A) 40 to 85% by weight of at least one cyclic aromachemical material with a density between 0.950 g/cm3 and 1.500 g/cm3 and a ClogP value between 1.00 and 6.00; B) 5 to 80% by weight of at least one fragrance material with a density between 0.630 g/cm3 and 0.950 g/cm3; and C) 10 to 50% by weight of at least one oil soluble organic compound having a density between 0.950 g/cm3 and 1.500 g/cm3, where the sum of A), B) and C) equals 100%, wherein the shell is a polymer, the cyclic aromachemical material A) is selected from the group consisting of benzyl acetate, benzophenone, benzyl salicylate, cis 3-hexenyl salicylate, coumarin, cyclohexyl salicylate, 3a,4,5,6,7,7a-hexahydro-4,7-methano-1H-inden-5-yl acetate, 3a,4,5,6,7,7a-hexahydro-4,7-methano-1H-inden-6-yl acetate, ethylvanillin, heliotropine, indole, isoeugenol, methyl anthranilate, methyl benzoate, oxane (2-methyl-4-propyl-1,3-oxathiane), 2-phenylethanol, vanillin, vanillin isobutyrate, watermelon ketone, and mixtures thereof, and the fragrance material B) is selected from the group consisting of allyl caproate, citronellol, gamma decalactone, dihydromyrcenol, cis-3-hexenyl acetate, limonene, linalool, prenyl acetate, butyl cyclohexyl acetate, and mixtures thereof. |
