1. A cable structure, comprising:
a conductor bundle extending along a first axis; a generally circular bi-component sheath compression molded from a first sheet forming a top sheath component and a second sheet forming a bottom sheath component, the top and bottom sheath components together defining an external surface of the cable structure and encompassing the conductor bundle; and a tube sleeve having an outer surface which mates with an inner surface of the bi-component sheath; and a cured resin disposed within the tube sleeve and encompassing the conductor bundle; wherein
the sheath smoothly and continuously transitions in cross-sectional diameter along at least a first portion of the conductor bundle extending along the first axis;the sheath smoothly and continuously maintains a constant cross-sectional diameter along at least a second portion of the conductor bundle extending along the first axis; andthe sheath smoothly and continuously transitions between the first portion of the conductor bundle and the second portion of the conductor bundle.
