1. A solid-state image capture device comprising:
unit pixels each including photoelectric converter, a diffusion layer, a transfer gate that transfers charge to the diffusion layer from the photoelectric converter; signal lines to which the signals output from the unit pixels are read out; current sources each of which is connected to a respective signal line; and driver circuitry that breaks selected connections between the unit pixels and the signal lines and between the signal lines and current sources current source in a transfer period when the transfer gate transfers the charge from the photoelectric converter to the diffusion layer wherein,
in accordance with an amount of light incident on the photoelectric converting section, the driver circuitry determines whether or not the connection between the unit pixel and the signal line and the connection between the signal line and the current source are to be electrically cut off.
