一种微波成像方法及应用其之成像系统与骨质评估方法。所述微波成像方法包括以下步骤：发射具有不同频率的多个微波讯号；接收基于所述多个微波讯号所产生之多个散射场资料；依据各个散射场资料计算待测物体在对应的频率下的介电系数分布，其中对应于不同频率的介电系数分布分别具有不同的解析深度；依据各个介电系数分布产生对应的断层影像资料；以及基于多个所述断层影像资料建立待测物体的三维断层影像。; receiving a plurality of scattered field data generated based on the microwave signals; calculating a dielectric constant distribution of an object-under-test under the corresponding frequency according to each of the scattered field data, where the dielectric constant distributions corresponding to the different frequency respectively have different analytical depth; generating a corresponding tomography data according to each of the dielectric constant distributions; and building a three-dimensional tomography of the object-under-test according to the tomography data.
