An improved Brassica hybrid seed and plant thereof designated 46P50 is provided. The Brassica hybrid produces seed having an average of between about 2.7% to 3.3% greater oil than current commercial hybrids when grown under the same environmental conditions, and wherein the percent oil is calculated at 0% moisture. Also provided are methods for producing the hybrid plant, methods of oil and meal production, and methods of breeding with the hybrid plant.
