Cooperative client and server logging

Various embodiments enable automatic cooperative logging of information associated with a connection between at least two computing devices. In some cases, a first computing device can automatically trigger logging on a second computing device upon detection of at least one scenario. Alternately or additionally, the second computing device can respond to the first computing device with additional and/or supplemental logging requests.

one or more modules implemented at least partially in hardware, the one or more modules configured to perform operations comprising: communicating with at least one other device; receiving a request from the at least one other device to initiate logging, the request indicating detection of a connection related state in association with the communicating and specifying a level of information for the device to log information; processing the request at the device to initiate the logging; and sending an acknowledgement to the at least one other device, the acknowledgement acknowledging receipt of the request and that the logging is initiated.
