A slurry for treating a wellbore is described that includes a base fluid; at least one fibrous structure; at least one LCM material, where the LCM has plane or sheet-like structure and the amount of the LCM is between 10 and 50 mg/t; and at least one weighting agent. Methods of reducing loss of wellbore fluid in a wellbore to a formation using at least one LCM having plane or sheet-like structure are also described.
