Disclosed is an autostereoscopic multi-view point image display apparatus including: an image panel including a plurality of pixels arranged in multiple rows and columns; a backlight unit which provides light to the image panel; a viewing zone separation unit which is arranged on the front side of the image panel and provides different view points for each watching region; and a control unit which sorts multi-view point images, constituting one image frame, into at least two groups, sequentially displays at least two sub-frames including the multi-view point images included in each sorted group, and controls to provide light in different directions at view points when the two sub-frames are individually displayed.
