The present invention relates to a movable tension leg platform, which includes a marine structure installed on the sea; a movable mooring structure going underwater in order to moor the marine structure during a drilling process by being placed in the bottom of the marine structure, and floating on the sea in order to selectively move the marine structure; and a tension mooring line connecting the marine structure with the movable mooring structure. The present invention includes a structure, in which the movable mooring structure is sunk into the sea bottom to be moored during a drilling process and the mooring structure is floated on the sea when the marine structure is on the move. Therefore, 500m length for each mooring line is long enough while the existing method requires 2100m of a chain when the waster is 500m deep. Moreover, the materials and operation costs can be reduced and motion can be significantly improved as a thruster assist is not required. A large payload can be supported on the move as a large submersible pontoon structure is applied. |
