Provided is a composition comprising a fraction fractionated from a fruit body extract of Phellius baumii as an active ingredient for inhibiting activation of neuraminidase. According to the present invention, the composition can be used for preventing and treating influenza virus infection due to prevention of influenza virus from dispersing in a different cell inside a respiratory organ by inhibiting activation of neuraminidase, which exists on the surface of influenza virus and performs necessary functions in virus replication.
