SLIT BURNER OF ALUMINIUM ELECTROLYSER WITH SELF-BAKED ANODE

The invention relates to non-ferrous metallurgy, in particular to electrolytic production of aluminium, and is provided for burning anode gases in slit burners of electrolysers with a self-baked anode. A slit burner of an aluminium electrolyser with a self-baked anode consists of a cylindrical heat exchanger with slits and a pipe for supplying anode gases in its lower part, the slits of the cylindrical heat exchanger are made as an equal area, with a ratio S of the previous slit to the following slit as S:S:…:Sn=(1:0,7-0,5:…:0,5-0,2), wherein the slits have consequently decreasing lengths, so that an envelope passing through one of the slit ends is in the form of a curve descending towards the anode gases supplying branch pipe. The technical effects of the claimed burner provide changing the volumes of air induced through the slits, uniform flare distribution inside the burner and increased service life of the burner.
