A display device comprises a display panel and a backlight assembly providing light to the display panel. The backlight assembly comprises a light guide plate including a light incident surface, a light emitting surface connected to the light incident surface, and a facing surface facing the light emitting surface; a light source formed to face the light incident surface, and emitting light; a reflection sheet facing the facing surface, and reflecting the light; a first pattern integrally formed with the light guide plate, and protruding from the facing surface; and an adhesive provided on an upper surface of the reflection sheet, and contacting with at least one part of the upper surface of the protruding part.
